This festival is complementary to the great initiatives of Government of India (GOI) such as Startup India, Digital India, Make-in-India, etc and will bring together more than 10,000 startups to advance their missions and drive towards an Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Taking place at India's own Silicon Valley (Bengaluru) & the hub for the world-class technologies emerging from India, this will be a path-breaking exposure for the startups and will help them take their products and services global.
The first edition of ISF in the year 2022 saw more than 2000 startups participate, exhibit, discuss, compete, win & grow. The event had unprecedented support from Investors, Mentors, Corporate Leaders, & Policy Makers. The competition saw 15 startups come out on top out of the 2000 registered startups from the early to the growth stage. CEOs of prominent corporations and Industry experts are presently mentoring these entrepreneurs.

Roundtable discussion draws its genesis from both Indian as well as Western worlds. "Rachabanda" is typically a stone bench around the trunk of a banyan tree in a central spot in the village. Village elders sit on the rachabanda to discuss, deliberate, and decide on aspects of common interest for the village. In the western world King Arthur conceived the concept of "Knights of the Round table".
Roundtable discussion as a framework for open and constructive dialogue and decision making has always been an important tool in government and business. This is an organized conversation with a chairperson and several expert speakers that bring a variety of perspectives to a subject, and an audience who may simply observe or participate by asking questions.
Roundtable discussion focuses on the challenge, reasons for current situation, opportunity to address the same. Essential focus in on the 'what', 'why', and 'how'. The outcome of the roundtable at ISF 2023 is to bring out a thought-provoking white paper with potential solutions and share with local and federal government authorities to pursue towards the envisaged change and progress.
